All SMART RAX® units must be installed into overhead joists or supports. All SMART RAX® units have a rated capacity of 700 lbs evenly distributed load using a minimum 2" bolt embedment into solid wood.
Advanced Overhead Storage (SMART RAX®) makes no claim to the capacity of the structure to which the units are mounted. Care should be taken not to overload the overhead support structure.
Advanced Overhead Storage (SMART RAX®) can not be held liable for structure failure or damage as a result of the structure failure.
